1
The Month of Service is a series of school and parish service opportunities throughout February and March, including Coins for Change, the Traditional Day of Service, Meal with a Message, Flower Box Refurbish, Crafting Easter Cards, and Virginia Home bowling.

Day of Service
On March 14th from 9 am- 12 pm, the parish and school community will come together to complete service projects.
Volunteers will assemble meal kits for families in need, tidy and organize the parish youth closet, redistribute rubber mulch on the playground, help clean the school bus, and support our teachers/staff with organizational projects. It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids and adults to work side‑by‑side as our school and church communities join forces to serve and make a lasting impact together.

Flower Box Refresh
We invite members of the school and parish communities who are interested and can bring relevant experience in carpentry. Student age is restricted to the 6th grade and up due to the nature of the work and safety considerations involved. We will be working together to repurpose the flower boxes lining the blacktop. This is a great opportunity to connect, train and preview teens to ministry, to what happens at Diocesan Work Camp this June in Bristol (you name it, we fix it).
Crafting Easter Cards
Children are invited to craft Easter cards for area nursing home residents. This will take place on Sunday March 21st after 9 AM and 11 AM Masses.
